David C. Wajsgras is Chief Executive Officer of Intelsat, operator of the world’s first globalized network and leader in integrated satellite communications. Intelsat delivers critical broadband connectivity and media content distribution that impacts and transforms businesses and communities in more than 200 countries. This is accomplished through Intelsat’s fully integrated, globalized network comprising 52 commercial communications satellites and the IntelsatOne terrestrial network.
Wajsgras became CEO of Intelsat in April 2022 and focuses on driving innovation and generating long-term value for the company’s stakeholders across the media, broadband, commercial aviation and other mobility, and government sectors. He joined the company after two decades of providing operational, strategic and financial leadership in both the commercial and defense industries.
Wajsgras most recently served as president of the global, $7.5-billion, advanced-technology Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) business at the former Raytheon Company, now part of Raytheon Technologies. Before joining Raytheon as chief financial officer, Wajsgras was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Lear Corporation and held other key operations and leadership roles.
